A. Frank Willis does a one-man show from St. John's to Fort MacMurray and beyond and has been for a long long time. This 2004 release picks up where his Newfoundland country albums of the past left off. The title track""Great Big Moose (in the middle of the road) is a dead giveaway to the brand of Newfoundland humour that has been passed down musically through the years. This album is no-one man show though with great country picking from Dave Fitzpatrick (Fables) and Steve Petrie as well as a couple of co-writes with Bob Porter. A. Frank is a classic Newfoundland performer. |
